Electricity Is Taken For Granted

Electricity Is Taken For Granted

A Poem by Randy Johnson

We don't appreciate electricity until it's gone.

Especially at night when our lights can't be turned on.

Most of us take electricity for granted until we have a blackout.

We don't realize how important it is until we have to do without.

Electricity is important, for many people it provides heat and cooks meals.

If the power is out for even just a day or two, it can be a terrible ordeal.

I hate blackouts, to be able to watch TV or get online, I have to sit and wait.

Please remember that electricity is something that we should appreciate.
