Amazing ForgivenessA Poem by Randy JohnsonThis is a true storyEven though a man's loved one was murdered, he was willing to forgive. He said he would forgive the killer even though his loved one no longer lives. He offered his forgiveness when the jury found the killer guilty. I didn't know that such compassion was possible, it amazed me. It usually takes a very long time to forgive murder but he was willing to forgive then and there. I didn't know that such a remarkable person could exist, I was not aware. He was willing to forgive that man even though what happened was very grim. That man's compassion is awesome and I'd be a better person if I was like him. © 2014 Randy Johnson |
