Am I a killer?

Am I a killer?

A Poem by Randy Johnson
"

EVEN THOUGH THIS POEM IS FICTIONAL, TOBACCO PRODUCTS CAN KILL.

"

I'm the owner of a big tobacco corporation.

I like the profits but not the devastation.

My products kill people, people even die from second-hand smoke.

My products cause lung cancer, emphysema and even strokes.

People die every day when they inhale.

Am I a killer because of what I sell?

I know that people aren't forced to smoke, they do it of their own free will.

But facts are facts, my tobacco products eventually kill.

I could sell my corporation but the devastation would continue, it wouldn't be gone.

I'm going to shut down my corporation and many people won't die, they will live on.

Some people are saying that I'm crazy to end the empire that I've built.

But I have to because I can no longer bear the guilt.
