We're the Daleks

We're the Daleks

A Poem by Randy Johnson
"

This poem was inspired by the British TV show, Doctor Who.

"

We're the Daleks and we're programmed to kill.
Hatred is the only emotion that we feel.
We're mutants who are forced to live inside Mark III travel machines.

We're the deadliest race that the universe has ever seen.
A scientist named Davros created us and made us very grim.
When we were able to survive without his help, we shot him.
When kids see us on TV, they get scared and hide behind the couch.
When we blast people with our laser guns, they always yell "Ouch!"
If you see us coming, you'd damn well better run.
Everybody will be dead when our job is done.
We can't be reasoned with, we're people who nobody can trust.
In the end, a scientist called the Doctor always defeats us.
If you think things are going bad, believe me we'll make it worse.
We will eventually exterminate the Doctor and rule the universe.
