An emptiness in my soulA Poem by Randy JohnsonDedicated to Agnes Johnson who passed away March 6, 2013. (1948-2013)I was never able to say I love you until you were on your deathbed. You were in so much pain, I hope you were able to understand those three words that I said. It was very difficult to express my feelings when we were face to face. Each moment with you was a blessing, you made the world a better place.
Since the day you died, I've felt an emptiness in my soul. As each day passes, the misery takes its toll. You cared more about others than you did about yourself. I'm not rich but being a part of your life was insignificant compared to wealth.
You were such a sweet mother, you deserve nothing but praise. You'll be with me spiritually for the remainder of my days. I'm going on with my life because that's what you'd want me to do. If I live to be a hundred, I'll never stop loving you. © 2014 Randy Johnson |
