Coma

Coma

A Poem by Ross Adams
"

A snapshot of a mind.

"

Everyday, cold.
Everyday, empty.
Everyday, isolated.

Mind dizzied with activity
body limp with fear
thoughts a flood of disappointment.

I listen to the voices of others
they drown out my own
their thoughts replace mine.

Their action, my inaction.
Their progress, my stagnation.
They're real, I am not.
