Hush

Hush

A Poem by Xam Salamanca

Hush
by Xamuel Luis Salamanca

Hush little baby, you'll be fine forever we will pray
Hush little baby, do not cry amidst the clouds you lay
Little baby don't be sad, do not frown for you are in his hands
Hush little baby, stay at peace, angel from the land

God will take care of you, now and forever more
Hush little baby, fly to the skies and remain behind heaven's door
Little child you will remain in your mother's heart
Hush little baby you fill up the fragments, fallen apart

Thanks! He was cremated awhile ago. It was painful, but this is God's will and I'm sure he has a purpose. ;)

This is like "Sa Uyog ng Duyan" but it is the child that will depart.

Lately, I've been searching for famous elegies on the internet. This poem should be one of them. Only a few writers can capture both the pain and serenity of death.

This is a nice poem. The flow of the poem was smooth. A nice rhyming scheme.
