Chapter 1 �" The Flight

(around 6am in the morning in Perth, Australia)

A very familiar voice was heard in Ashley's dream.

"Ashley...I need you..I cannot live with

out your smile, your touch and your love..please, come home to the Philippines.

"Ashley woke up and shouted and she fell to the ground from her bed. "Ouch," she exclaimed.

She rushed down to the kitchen and saw her mom cooking breakfast. "Mom, I need to go back to the Philippines, something tells me that I need to, I just...I fell it."

Her mom is looking at Ashley, she seems very confused. "Honey, you know what, I think we should visit an expert."

"An expert for what mom? are you suggesting that I'm mentally sick?"

"No, it's not that, but why would you like to go back to the Philippines? Is this because of Jhake?" Ashley turned away from her mom.

"No mom, I think it's more than Jhake, I think all the memories and friends I have left in the Philippines are haunting me."

"Well, if that is your decision sweety, you can do whatever you want, as long as you promise me that you will be safe. Ok?"

Turning back to face her mom. "Yes mom, I promise.."

(The Next Day)

Ashley is running down the stairs. "Mom! The cab's here!"

Her mom went to the door to say goodbye to

Ashley. "You be safe alright? Always change your undies, no boyfriends, and act like a 15 year old okay? And if you need anything don't hesitate to write mom an e-mail alright?"

"Alright mom." A teardrop fell from Ashley's eyes.

Ashley went to the airport, and there, she met a Filipino named Ericka,

she happened to be a teen-artist in the Philippines.  

Ericka and Ashley shared a few stories about themselves. Ericka mentioned something about her current project. “You know what, I am currently committed to a fellow cast member of the show I was telling you about.”

Ashley was quite intrigued by this statement so she asked. “Really? What does the guy look like?”

“Calling all the passengers of flight number 5738agrd from Australia to the Philippines”

“Oops, looks like that’s my flight.” Said Ashley.

Ashley left and Ericka waved from afar “I hope to see you in the Philippines!!”
