Live More

Life is too short to live with regrets...

Travel more roads, see new places,

Breathe in new air, meet new faces.

 

Learn a new language, collect some art,

Just listen to your mind yet agree to the heart.

 

Learn to cook your favorite dish, watch a new show,

Get up and move the post, don’t lie low.

 

Read that book in the rack since long,

take up a new sport or mow the lawn,

Call up your friends and live a few extra hours,

Don’t be awake for just dusk to dawn.

 

Give your heart to that special someone,

Let yourself fall madly in love,

Smile more often & sing out your thoughts,

At night from your terrace gaze at the stars above.

 

Give food to the starving, blankets to the cold,

Help out the needy and shower love on the old.

 

Life seems so short sometimes with so much to do,

Till few years back I just had no clue!

 

Let yourself live some more without any fear,

‘cos there can’t be any more hours in a day or months in an year!

i love this...like a mix of Frost's "the road not taken" and emily dickinson's "because i could not stop for death"

the mix of ideas...take that road, travel it...and savor all you see and do..life is too short not to.
