Oh Daddy

Father where might you be?

From the moment I took my first breath you were there

those rough big hands held me close to your chest as you shed soft tears.

I began to grow and and my chubby legs carried long and wide as it seemed 

daddy were you there to see?

I spoke a few words and laughed with glee, I was little at the time

daddy were you there to see? 

Mama screamed and yelled as you walked out, leaving us behind think I was to young to remember but remember

crying,

daddy did you look back and see?

A few years past and new man walked into my life, he was strange to me 

daddy were you there to see?

Mama became friendly with this man, i'm moving away 

daddy are you going to come see?

Mama is kissing and loving on this man

daddy you don't want to see.

Were moving back, I have a "new family"

daddy are you coming to see?

I barely see you anymore daddy but

daddy don't you want to see me?

You left without saying goodbye 

daddy why didn't you say goodbye? Don't you want to see me?

I'm a big girl now, fourth grade is hard everyone is so mean

daddy when are you coming to save me?

A bad man touched me and mama is bothering me about it and I have to talk to a weird lady

daddy just come save me!

Mama's taking a long walk in a pretty fancy dress something about I do's 

daddy what's happening are you going to save me?

Middle school, bullying, events, birthday parties. 

daddy don't you want to watch me grow? Daddy don't you want to see?

High school, boys, depression, liars, cheaters, idiots and more

Father you don't want to see?  Stay away I don't need you any more.

Senior year

Mr. where have you been all this time? Mr. i'm not a little girl anymore

Mr. I know i've changed. Mr. I don't like that anymore. Mr. just go away

Yet instead,

It's to late to save me but 

daddy i'm so glad you finally came and saw me.
