A Poem by Randolph
"

Overcast for three days. I'm about at moody sixth grader.

"
6 Words.

Gone.  Such an endless, unforgiving word.
Once given breath it simply won't fade away.
The ending stanza of music never heard.
The final truth regardless of what they say.

Lost.  Never, ever to be found again.
A Child-like wisdom we can't forget.
Immobile honesty that nests within.
Not undone by wish, prayer, or bet.

Mine. The argument so selfish, irrefutable.
Iron clad, and tested only by the few.
Children's Law so complete and indisputable.
To battle with this is to wage war with you.

Weak.  So tangible is this honesty.
A moment seldom shared yet felt by all.
Allowing friends and enemies to see,
Glimpses from your eyes as you Fall.

Pain.  Why must this even be named?
Because it hurts with us every one.
because it walks hand in hand with shame.
Is it that through it we are truly undone?

Love.  Of words the undisputed Queen.
Raw, powerful, cruel, all it's little names.
Salvation, defeat, everything in between.
Without it we grow weak, we grow insane.
