Garden Gate.

Garden Gate.

A Poem by Randolph

I had a sandwich for breakfast. I wasn't allowed to eat until this silly thing got written. I was pretty hungry, really. Poems are b******s....

Garden Gate

What is it that you want?
Is there something I don't provide?
I thought you were content to haunt.
Perfectly at peace where you hide.

I've handed you my Imperfect Pen.
Now you're walking in my Dreams.
You must know I'd gladly let you in.
Be at peace deep in these scenes.

Where I'm uncertain, what puzzles me.
The unknown portion of our game.
Curious just what you think you'll see.
You know all of me, it's still the same.

No rush, please linger here today.
Walk where you will, it's all yours.
No fences will ever block your way.
You've the Key to all the doors.

It's curious when you walk in me.
Like a visit from a familiar breeze.
I wonder what it is that you see.
I wonder that you walk with ease.

Take what you must, whatever you need.
Permission for you being ever granted.
Perhaps you seek that childlike seed.
We once, so long ago, together planted.

I loved every minute of this! This poem right here, gave me life. Now, aside from the a*s kissing, I can't really think of a true critique. This poem was lovely, and I definitely enjoyed reading. Thank you.
