Leap of Faith

To reminisce about the times we had,
The laughs, the jokes, the tears....
Makes it all clear, I have a new found fear

To spend day after day,
and watch each other make play after play,
It's was to safe to say we'd be set till our dying days

But as a fool I counted my chickens before they hatched, thinking now matter how far we'd drift we'd always come back

Life changes at a fast pace and you are a saving grace, touching hearts and spreading love. Watching you go through this is super rough. I've cried, screamed, punched and kicked but I can't fight it I can't help it I'm useless in a fight I can't win. All I can do is hope and pray but you know me personally I wasn't the biggest on faith and if I could in a heart beat I'd trade you for your place. I keep telling myself God works in mysterious ways putting us through this is preparing us for when we reunite it will be for better days so in gods name I'll take a leap of faith and wait for the moment we can see face to face

As for the ime being I'll reminisce about the times we had,
The laughs, the jokes, the tears
And keep trying and ignore my new found fear that when I call you.... You won't be there..
