In the ShoeboxA Poem by Rana tradIn the shoebox I put all our memories. I open it from time to time to recall our happy moments but gradually I remember our worst moments so I close the shoebox and leave him inside. In the shoebox, My past decay My memories fade away My feelings perish.
In the shoebox, I reconnect with you I reunite with you I entwine with you.
In the shoebox, I goof with you I squabble with you I desert you.
