Black Star

Black Star

A Poem by Ran
"

When you want someone to break free...

"
Don’t sleep anymore
We’re not frail tired things
What are you pretending for?
Our grounds are the same
There’s no way
can you be a single breath different
From me

Let go of this torn skin,
You’re beautiful
What are you scared of?
They’ll pretend they don’t see
But you know, like me
You’ll show all the things
you could be

Now when they hurt you,
Call for me
I’ll make them feel
How pain can be so true
In this free fall
You know you can never break
The darkness never looked
More black
Never felt more at home

Shine brighter,
Fly higher,
You won’t be forgotten
Forever incessant
Forever radiant…
