Small Things

All the small things I think I should notice more when I fall in love....I think

All the motions that flowed
breathe into your way
there was a reason for time to stop
and my heart stopped as it did
though the leaves
still swept across the ground

But I've never felt so alive

Staring out in your division
Life is a thousand pastel colors
the peace of the afternoon sleep
I woke up to the sands at my feet

But I've never felt so alive

Now, I'm on my way to you
Extraordinary is how I came
to try not to be me
just to say that
'I love you,'
