THE GREYHOUND AND THE HOG

THE GREYHOUND AND THE HOG

A Poem by Vince Cleghorne
"

A silly, fun rhyme.

"

THE GREYHOUND AND THE HOG

"I wish that I was fatter,"
Said the greyhound to the hog.
"I wouldn't have to race, no more.
I wouldn't have to chase, no more.
I wouldn't do one speedy chore.
I'd be a happy dog."

"I wish that I was thinner,"
Said the hog back to the hound.
"I wouldn't have to live in mud.
Or wind up next to Yorkshire pud.
I'd slip out while the going's good.
If not so big and round."
