Wetted lips are warmed and stinging A firey afterglow How can it lift you high Before raising you so low?
The alcohol is welcomed The brian shakes familiar hand The pain disolves just slightly Thought..... a shifting sand
As feelings drift from reason As memories start to dull The comfort that surrounds is that The bottle's still half full...
