Love And Remorse

A short poem that talks about what love is like

So, you are the prince with the white horse?
The hero, the unstoppable force?!
You're simply a man with no actions, just words,
A golden tongue, a master at poetry and prose.
Love, my darling, is much more than a letter with a red rose.
It's the greatest sacrifice made by two uniting souls,
By two courageous hearts, by two colliding worlds.
Love isn't what we see in stories, or hear in songs
Love is deep in our hearts; not something composed.
So, darling, if we fall in love, will we feel any remorse?

I liked that you questioned love. I'm old and I have learn. Love is fragile. We must treat her like a flower garden. Water her with attention, ensure she is safe and sound from the struggle of life and remind her often. She is your life. A excellent poem Rama. I hope to read more.
