Happiness

Feelings that I express no one in particular

I just gotta say your the happiness I've been looking and waiting for

The feeling is amazing and feels so right

I knew from the first moment my soul laid eyes on you walking through that door

I promised you i will be your happy light

When near you i get a sensation that runs through my core

No more backing away, I don"t bite

I know that everyday we get a little bit closer and we just want more

Always remember that for you I will always fight

i remember even the smallest details even what you wore

I'll will respect you everyday even when out of sight

I Promised you i will repair all the pieces of you that tore

I Promise you i will care for you with all of my might

Remember that life is a Battle but it doesn't have to be a War

When things get rough, I'll hold you so very tight

I will remove all the pain, hurt, and even the scar

I want to cuddle with you during the storms at night

Never worry because i accept you for who you are.

I like how this poem shows protection and shelter as a method to achieve happiness. I feel like this is somewhat forgotten in the world. it is essential to love. and how it ends with fully accepting the love interest. these are things we all look for. good job.
