No More Gods

No More Gods

A Poem by rose with love

Venus

 Rage.

Flood;

Creates

My sin.

Revived

Level of insanity

Cured with hatred.

No eyes to see.

Sunk.

Dreamer, what have you done?

Look into the mirror!

She’s moving, she’s watching you, cursing you, punishing  for what you’ve never done.

The clock is ticking,

The rain is pattering on the roof.

Is it your roof?

No! It is not!

It’s mine!

Do you remember me?

I’m the one in your dreams whose always chasing you. You always made it alive. I’m sorry this time.

You look so beautiful in that velvet tomb of yours.

It’s only you now. Wasn’t this your eternal wish?

Hush my baby, they can’t hear you.

No more Gods!

This style is slightly different from your norm. But its great nonetheless! I always look forward to your work. My favourite lines " You look so beautiful in that velvet tomb of yours. It’s only you now. Wasn’t this your eternal wish? " Beautiful.
