Only My Gods Know

Only My Gods Know

A Poem by rose with love

* The tree outside my window turned gray.

* The happy chord changed its vibe into a melancholic sound

Of grief, sorrow and pain.

* The clouds ripped out the sky

and an ocean of tears engulfed the beauty of yesterday.

- Where the happiness went only my Gods know.

I could have saved the drunken souls from the ravens,

Flying in circles upon the rotten shelter made once of stone,

But I clang with my ears to the sound engrossed by your toe tag...

In a heartbeat, one deadly yell  locked the casket.

* The silence, the mute smile, the cold touch

Killed  our light.

* Lively heart no longer sings: lost in a place where nothig lives.

* The laugh, the warm touch of birds from Heaven

And the heart, like an ocean of fire and ice,

Are echoing in the silver jar where the key lies in golden letters.

       -  Where the happiness went, only my Gods know.

A wish so it could feel like life again.

A strong thrust would feel like Heaven

Sending its white rose, circled with angels of light.

We shall  wait and see if the birds will ever come back.

"We shall  wait and see if the birds will ever come back."
This was a truly great conclusion, not that it wraps the poem up in all of it's entirety, but that it sets the final scene so beautifully. It seems to add that final touch to you message of sorrow. It's sweet in its sepulchral lines-- I love the beauty of death/discoloration.

just a feeling that I had when found myself alone in the house. realized that everyone plays its part although sometimes they make me wish for a rope. at the end of the day I guess that makes them so loveble

My favourite line..Are echoing in the silver jar where the key lies in golden letters. Thanks.
