Beyond the Empyrean Heaven

Beyond the Empyrean Heaven

A Story by rose with love

On the carpet of roses ,which lies on the white summer’s sky, she is making her way, softly like a sweet dream breeze... and his smile, oh if you could have only seen his smile, his smile, so kind like the scent of May, was inviting the angels for a dance, was summoning the Empyrean love for a song.

One silky white piano was humming their love’s heart song and one little golden violin was gliding smoothly on the velvet allies ,like in a fairytale. Oh and the flute, how could I forget the flute who was gently collecting the petals of their future. Then they started dancing on those fluffy clouds, dancing through the lights, dancing through time, holding hands, twisting and twirling...then when the dawn began to open its eyes he took her by the hand and up they went, up to the arch of lillies, finding its place at the end of the stairways. They looked into each other’s eyes; she was holding in her hand the softest touch in which she had entrusted her soul and she allowed him to take her into the sun’s razes. The angels kept on dancing, waltzing and singing as the instruments were playing.

One step at a time, smiling and giggling as they were getting closer to the arch, one drop of fright in his heart made him feel like he should look back to see if she was still there...and she was..it was she and her halo looking at him with her deep brown eyes. She kept on following him then she felt to look back to see if everything was at its place, to see if the love was still dancing...the love was still there, almost drunk by so many glasses of wine, and the angels were waving at her, everything was alright...everything...not one drop of blood, not even one. She turned her face to his, smiled and he smiled back. He smiled with his mouth, with his hazel-green eyes, with his soul, he embraced her, kissed her wavy brown hair and off they went. They disappeared into eternity and beyond.

-Grandma?

-Yes darling.

-Grandma... promise you’ll take  me to the stairways this dawn.

-I will sweetheart, I will...

-It’s alright grandma, don’t cry, they will understand. If not now, someday. And someday we will all have a party like yours...

-...darling who are you talking to?

-No one mother...no one like you

Wonderful, wonderful ending! At first I though the main paragraph was like the beginning story from "Edward Scissor Hands", if you've ever seen it. I was enthralling, the writing I mean, not the movie. You played the part of fear very well in the ending. I expected something tragic, but it came out all right. Lovely piece. Also, The very last line of the piece is so cold and tragic, I love it.
"No one mother...no one like you"
It adds a whole new dimension to the story. It is now more than a love tale, but the tragedy of a loved on lost and the bearing of a hated family. Beautiful, beautiful. 100/100
