Spiced Up!

Spiced Up!

A Poem by Candle in the wind
"

Just a picture that set this off....sort of gibberish

"

You need a checkered mosaic of spices
To pep up your life
Some add color
Some flavor
Some aroma
You have mild ones
Delightfully exotic ones
Pungent and tangy ones
Sizzling hot ones
Some leave you asking for more
While some make you wish
You hadn’t stomached so much
With your eyes hands
And the inside of you smarting!

Very cute! I love the images, too. This is a fun read, I enjoyed it a lot. Funny that I've always wished to have a collection of spices and over the years I've managed to acquire quite a few and now that I have them, I haven't a clue what to do with most of them. LOL I'm so lame. This made me smile, thanks for that. :+)

Ha ha this was soooo brilliantly cute, just loved how you took that picture and made it your own with words that one could have mistaken as the reason why that picture was taken.

Very enjoyable read, fun read, something I haven't had in such a long time.
Great work, thank you so much for sharing!

You made me hungry thinking about that wonderful burn and great taste. I love Indian food. seeing all those spices made me excited and now craving so good food. Maybe I will have to go for dinner to my favorite Indian restaurant. I love spice.

Great Job!!!!!!

ha ha ha!!
This is really cute!! And I don't know about others but as an Indian I could relate myself to it very well.
It may be a coincidence but just today morning , I was having my breakfast of "Mirchi vada" (okay! I don't wanna translate it in English) and really damn!! It was so spicy...My face became somehow very much similar with the guy in the second pic!
lolz..!! :D :D

But yeah! It is a great write, very unique..quite funny...Awesome indeed :)

I found this writing to tickle the funny bone
and I'm still tickled-Very original
to ponder spices and all the different effects
each spice holds on taste and mind
The graphics are fitting touches
accentuating the passionate mood
A pleasure to read.

short, crisp, and well versed. I found the 2nd picture amusing and perhaps fitting the concept of the poem, although I feel it does best without.

Good choice of words, and the checker concept works out well. It can be expounded and even be used as analogies to so many facets in life.

A wonderful piece
