Now Freedom means...

Now Freedom means...

A Poem by Candle in the wind
"

Inspired by a song I heard last last night and the new defination of FREEDOM someone shared with me.Just jotted it down now right here....

"

The memories that evoke pain

Bring an involuntary smile to my lips

When those moments are relived

They are so real and vivid

I can still hear that laughter

I can still see that smile

The twinkle in those eyes

I still want to share

Every inane thing

I still want to listen

To those words and melodies

I want those tantrums

Little escapades of insanity

I want those liberties

I wait to be sought out

To hear the familiar tinkle

Those moments seem so real

I extend my hand

To touch that feel of happiness

And the bubble bursts

I am startled to realise

I am free from the Illusion

Now freedom means

Nothing left to lose

i really like this concept. the beginning confused me a little - but then i understood what you mean - that the painful memories are the good ones.

"Those moments seem so real

I extend my hand

To touch that feel of happiness"

love that. great part right there.

made me think. made me wonder what it would mean to feel freedom in that sense - nothing left to lose.

Lovely well written poem. Much enjoyed!

"I want those tantrums". Now you don't really want those do you? Just kidding!
Its all the little things that we sometimes think as humdrum can seem such a loss when we are
not able to experience them anymore.

Good job again!

Thanks for another beautiful write for my contest.

Freedom is everything and nothing. Sometimes, we have to test those limits.

That is it.

Freedom is being detached, nothing to lose, nothing left to lose.

If we have something we may lose, our choice will only be based on trying to not to lose that.

Quite like the concept of Fight Club (in some way).

I liked this poem

Oh wow yes, this was perfect in so many ways. Freedoms means... such a wonderful inspirational piece that one can't help but to sit back and admire what you have written down so perfectly here
Beautiful to say the least

I don't know if I reviewed this last time, but I did read it. What I get from this is a realtionship where certain sparks of creativity spawn all of the memories. It was a great concept, and beautifully worded too.

I loved this picture at the end of the piece a lot :D

And yeah! The write itself is very much mature and I must say it's the title "Now" freedom means which attracted me a lot.

Beautiful flow and a very intense and vivid write.

"I can still hear that laughter
I can still see that smile"-This is my favourite part in it :)

WOW! What an absolutely brilliant thought...when you have something that you hold close and cherish...you are afraid it might go away from you.....but when you have let it gone...you can rest assured that you really have nothing left to lose....Fabulous piece of writing...

God Bless You!
