Faded dream

Faded dream

A Poem by Candle in the wind
"

The picture inspired this...

"

It was a gentle grasp

A firm clasp

A warm holding

Faith unfolding

Made her feel steady

And yet so heady

Was another world

Her spirit unfurled

Was like an embrace

With divine grace

The vision faded

Reality invaded

The rhythm in this is fantastic. I read it a second time faster and it was like a song! What beautiful imagery and your words float here and invite new beginnings. Very lovely and well written!!
