Faded dream

Faded dream

A Poem by Candle in the wind
"

The picture inspired this...

"

It was a gentle grasp

A firm clasp

A warm holding

Faith unfolding

Made her feel steady

And yet so heady

Was another world

Her spirit unfurled

Was like an embrace

With divine grace

The vision faded

Reality invaded

Beautifully written.........to get lost for a minute like that.

A warm holding

Faith unfolding

Made her feel steady

It's a shame reality returns!!

Beautiful piece, very uplifting. I found the sad ending a little dissapointing, yet it seemed right...not sure why...
I pilfered your picture! Sorry LOL xxx

A beautiful poem! "was like an embrace, with divine grace" love that part. Then, reality. Sometimes you feel that close, but, for me, it's too short lived! A great read, beautiful imagery. Barbara

It is lovely. Reality invades far too often, I fear. You have such a graceful pen.
