Introspection

A Poem by Candle in the wind
"

This is an attempt at Haiku inspired by Shinjini.I don't know if it has happened.

"

Easy to lash out

Than to hold back and calm down

Look within for peace

Profound.
We need to tell this to ourselves every now and then.
Interesting title too.

I noticed that the syllable count wasn't an exact 5-7-5, like a Haiku traditionally is. May I suggest this

Easy to lash out

Than to hold back and calm down,

To find peace within

Fabulous! I do not feel worthy enough to be able to review this piece, Ma'am. You are simply a genius with words...how could you use 15 words, just 15 words, to bring out something that could spin-off a full-length novel?! Simply Fantastic!

May God Bless You!

So deep and wise. This is the words of a true warrior. The wisdom that captured here is both refreshing and insightful. I applaud you for saying so much in so little. Very inspirational.

Simple and beautiful. So true that people lash out before thinking!
This is a good reminder to take a minute and look inside ourselves first!
Great Job!

Great words and unhappiness can bring anger easily. We have all been there and your writing is a proper reminder of what is needed. Peace within brings peace without. You have a gift for posting the perfect pictures as well.

Oh this is really good.
A very meaningful piece.

Looking for peace within is close to finding God. Hope to find Him someday and come out of my favorite game "the blame game".

Beautiful meaning and imagery.

You know what, this is something I have had to battle with myself over the last year, I have had to learn to not act on impulse, and make snap reactions, but just to relax, accept others views, and word my responses in a better manner.

Nice write,
I do like a lot

Love,
Me
