Dreams that can't be told

Dreams that can't be told

A Poem by Rajiv
"

Experienced Falling in love? What about love Falling on you?

"
Woke up, to still be in someone's dreams
Heart felt cries in the dark echoed of a tragedy
Sea of eyes rushed from all around to see
To look, glare, watch but not listen it seems.
Horror dawned, as those eyes were just staring at ME.

Repeated pleas to the tide echo back in a wave
Destiny is master and I it's slave
Rattling sound reaching into the fade
Sudden grasp of cold of chains cut like a blade
In vain, struggling, see what the commotion's about
Comotion's not enough, to drown those haunting cries out.

Imagined slights and torture in your own personal hell
Are these streaming visions real, or some type of spell?
Wrenching vice tightening around my heart, a reflection of love
Becomes an unbearable despair and damnation of above
Should I cry an ocean, damn a river to give, which is best?
It seems obvious to all but not to the rest.

No! no! Not an ounce of self pity, something I cannot feel
But feel I must, deep down in the dark YOUR hell is real
Echoing from a distance you make my heart burn
If only I could ignore you, the evil smile begins to turn
Far better I die here, listening to your story untold
My comfort in this pain is a shield from their cold

A lake of firey eyes, all I see, which cannot be shown
My ears burn with your screams of sufferings unknown
Fighting to surrender in fate's tormenting bind
All slowy now, the creeping fade rushes to mind
They weren't deaf! But it was I who was blind!

My shackles give nothing, but a path into the deep
Deeper and deeper I ventured, away from the crowd
Do my ears betray me or are you becoming more loud?
Blinding faith in my leash begins to grow steep
Your beautiful silhouette collapsed in a heap

Hell becomes heaven, when I begin to see this view
These cuffs become my guide, as they are connected to you.
Enveloped in ignorance, that fool raged from his aim
He could of helped you and had only himself to blame
Steps turn to strides, dreaming of what love could be
Suddenly it dawns, you always knew....you were chained to me...
