One Single Night

One Single Night

A Poem by Rajat malik
"

Loving under the midnight sky is just so amazing......Hope this Poem will take you back to your Life's partner.

"
                                                                One Single Night

As we sat near the Beach,
Looking at the Moon, trying him to tease
For he was alone and we were a couple,
Everything felt just like an Animal's fable
She sat there with her hands in mine,
And the Moon might have been crying
She was there with me so there wasn't any fear,
Maybe that's why the Moon showered his tears
I looked at her Eyes and her Sweet Face,
I just wanted that moment to be present in my Briefcase
Her Blue T-shirt was matching with the Night sky,
Making me Realize that I wanted her to Fly
For she was just, like a bird to me,
I can do anything for her and she for me
Suddenly from nowhere the Rain started to fall,
She sat curled up just like a Ball
I quickly Realized what I have to do,
Just then we noticed a Fish's crew
I took her in my Lap and embraced her,
It was the time when we both felt better
Mad I was and Mad was She,
But we didn't let each other go free.

So sweet..I almost felt sugar cubes in my mouth. Lol.
Your sense of rhyming certainly implants considerable humour in your writings.
You could get rid of a few unnecessary words here and there..eg. Her blue T-shirt, matching the night sky...sounds crisper. But it's a matter of choice, and I find your version as beautiful as it is. :)
Thanks for sharing. :)
