MediumA Poem by RajaFor my loving Dad who'd gone to neverland...For when they speak in favor of journey For when they should love their heirs For agony, satisfaction, and moral Gone in an infinite algebra, We speak their accents We, the medium, turn things around us the way they saw or The way they presumed to form We, the fantasized after-born, with their loving souls have shaped our worlds In whatever we find We define journey as a dot to be attained And they saw it a mark to be crossed and they’ve crossed Leaving us, their medium, to see and let the world see us For when the quintessential revolving has stopped And someone says, “Dad, please come back!” Or someone preaches “Mom…!” And they say “You speak, and I’ll stay…in you”© 2010 RajaReviews
