Without You

Without You

A Poem by Raja
"

Just for you...

"

It is not that I will be nowhere

Without you…

Sun still rises in the East and night sets in…

Still dreams engulf my eyes, though,
With colors to etch the pores of white blanks –
Framed or unframed

But it is true I cannot redefine everyday’s ordeal
                  With sun-and-shine
                  With night-and-nesting
                  With dreams-and-desire

When there is no ‘You’!
It is true I cannot even renew myself in your eyes –
To see how much beseeching I am for you

Just for you!

This was sweet and very sad.
It is true... though the sun still rises what good is it's beauty without somebody to share it with.
"It is not that I will be nowhere
Without you"
A perfect way to start this... draws the reader in.

The longing and the sweetness pour through here friend. But a man dying of hunger must not eat too much honey, sometimes just a taste is enough until he regains his strength. Love is also that way. There is a saying that, "abscence makes the heart grow fonder" and when we are away from what we love, we love it even more because we are without. You bring those words to life here.

Beautiful expression of bittersweet loss. Your words are so moving, resting on the deeper level of the heart, revealing what was and what has become. So well done!
