Sojourn - Pain

Sojourn - Pain

A Poem by Raja
"

It is a compilation of several poems, rain, et al. Sometimes we are jubilant to find lost love, while sometimes we could not keep it for fear of missing it once again. Sojourn demonstrates the different phases of love one has encountered in life.

"

Pain

Now that I am away
You can think of me more and cry
Cry not for what we lost, rather what that time lost
After all, I gave you a good cause to cry
When people around you call me
Idiot, b*****d, insensible, and swain

Asked, you told ‘I was not like this
It is for you I cry
For the inconceivable pain that you gave’!

I also cry for the dancing pain
Late at night
When I am the sleep catcher
To escape crying
But it is flying high

A very melancholic tune plays out in this succinct work. Makes me sad, there is such a loneliness expressed. Well done. Thank you for sharing.

I really have seen the sadness between your lines... I thought... how terrible that people would call one b*****d because a relationship is gone... they aren't in the life of the 2 lovers ? How can they do this?
I totally enjoyed this one. be well, gandr
