Sojourn - HighwayA Poem by RajaIt is a compilation of several poems, rain, et al. Sometimes we are jubilant to find lost love, while sometimes we could not keep it for fear of missing it once again. Sojourn demonstrates the different phases of love one has encountered in life.
Highway
One long highway
One cross the field
With few more exceptions to watch by
The evening style and the filth
Nowhere to rise
Nowhere to ride
The unknown vehicles that pass by…
Shortly thereafter, I beheld in the distance
With lurking sunrise as if it is the sunset
As if, for God’s sake, show me one more time
Show me one more time
The cadence of faded amber
That keeps rocking for the evergreen qui vive
In your eyes
In your quivering chest
In your smell
It was on another night
When someone said
‘I am only for you’
It is the most creative exercise —
‘Walking’ alone with me
‘Walking’ alone with you
Every time!
