SugarA Poem by Raja'For those who love bitterness...'
Sugar
Sugar, why to make you doubtful?
‘Am I not the least functional to
Wipe the bitterness?
‘No, not at all!’ replied the sugar.
Sugar, is that you on the onset to taste
My tongue sweet? Whole day follows.
With successive hours of diminishing sweetness —
I yell, shout, and cry
For being impatient and dry
Without feelings or finally retort.
I grew up on facts – sugary elements
Dissolve in blood
Fast enough than bitterness
All the wisdom is sugar
Wine, love, sleep, dream, and
Off course my uncontrolled lust!
Also, power, money, and lies…
Still people hate to taste
The bitterness
Albeit, the snake came to Eve to make her
Wise…‘once upon a time’.
