Adjectival

 

Ocean, sky, wind, fire, bird, fish,

Mountain, earth, grass, tune, water,

Stream, light n’ dark, bed, pillow,

You, me, carpet, sofa, sweat, word,

No-word and smiles…

 

We’re resting on a land

Deeper into the jungle where

 

You are my ocean, as you wave me

I am the sky, as you keep me blue

You’re wind, as I flow

I am fire, as you make me eat

 

You are bird as you nest over me

I am the fish as you let me swim

You are the mountain where I rock

I am the earth, as you dig me inside

 

You’re the grass, as I grass-hop

I am the tune, as you let me waltz

You water me, as I quench

I stream you, as you undress

 

You are the light, as I am the path

I am the dark, as you stop the harp

You are bed, as I sleep

I am the pillow, as you unrest

 

You are I, as I am you

I am the carpet, as you untie

You are sofa, as I find it soft

I am the sweat, you plough me on-the-spot

 

You are word, as I say

I be no-word, as you sense

 

Action!!

 

We are the smile.
