Burdened Mind

Burdened Mind

A Poem by Raisins Badeaux

Think fast, O burdened mind!
Set me on fire
My arms tied behind.
Show me patterns of things unseen
Or turn to dust, feeble machine.

Long days ago my spirit resigned
Packed up its things
And left me behind.
Senses deadened, asphyxiated
Laden with problems that I created.
