Please Remember Me

Please Remember Me

A Poem by Raisins Badeaux

"Please remember me."
Written on a paper found in a chest.
Did anyone care?
Was anyone there
To hear this idle request?

Perhaps it was left before someone died.
It's painful to think...
What a waste of ink!
That to read it, nobody tried.

A most despairing, grief-stricken plea.
Forsaken by all
Internal brawl
This poor soul resembled me.
