Thoughts wondering on the moon,
Looking out for shooting stars,
A shadow right by my side,
A friend, a sister, my sweetie pie...

She came when my days were black
And my nights were bleak;
Filled them with friendly smiles
And I no longer walk the mile with cold feet!

She laid an invisible hand on my shoulder,
Became an involuntary support,
The cushion to my sudden falls,
Always ready for my early calls!

Her precious words soothe me,
Her voice, like honey, is a melody,
Her hand in mine, a friend for life,
Yet another beautiful imprint in my heart!
