Kaleidoscope of swirling emotions

just an insight perspective which made me wonder about it all!

Times passed by rapidly,

and I was in that bus again...

staring out of the window pane,

gazing as my life pass me by,

all the while thinking about that soft lullaby...

 

Monochrome landscapes, sugar candies and smiling faces!

and I keep searching for my frozen tears,

in a sea of blooming sugarcane flowers,

my heart scared of that glaring sun; fierce!

I was back in June, waiting for him again...

 

An angel pass me by,

and my thoughts snap back harshly to the present.

In a blur, I saw the rainbow high,

glimpses of a caress, a kiss and a smile;

all drown in a maelstrom of colours; a sigh?

 

My eyes fill in with red tears,

my heart ached with severe yellow passion,

my soul whined; craving for black love!

My lips quiver, my skin turns blue,

a last yelp...and he dissapears!

 

Black and white sunsets, chocolate creams and vivid memories!

I searched for the broken pieces of my heart,

in a sea of blooming sugarcane flowers...

Kaleidoscope of swirling emotions; layers of untold stories!

I was back in June, waiting for him again!

this poem came by itself while i was travelling last week in a bus watching blooming sugarcane fields by and by...
i dont know if i got it right because all of it came like swirling from a spiral staircase...

Black and white sunsets, chocolate creams and vivid memories! I searched for the broken pieces of my heart...........searching for those sweet memories and finding ourselves right back there where it all began. Beautiful Raingel.
