"

This is the first part of a four part story line I created for a character I made. The character's name is 'Nyx Parker.'

"
After settling down in the new place, I go out to explore the city. It hadn't been that long since I moved out of my home town so there were places I still needed to discover. Seeing the bodies lay on the floor, still haunted me. Clearly running away didn't help with the nightmares. I wonder why I even thought it would. Passing people, I walk by a book store. I glare at a book that stands in the window stand. "Secrets about a different world." Somehow I feel a drawn to it. Like there is a connection. Following my feeling, I walk in and buy it
.After I get some lunch and take a walk around the woods, I find a nice place to take a seat for a bit. The sun reflects on the water of the lake infront of me. The birds fly along with the soft breeze in the sky. I take the book out of my bag and open it. With that feeling of being drawned to it, I start reading. "This book is intended for the people who can't be discovered by the human world." Whispering softly to myself I raise a bow. Was this real..?
Quickly flipping the first page, my eyes widen. "Supernatural. The word it self says it. People who are or can do more then normal humans. This book was started by the first few people who were supernatural. Sadly, they were murdered by humans for being who they were. Their children discovered they were the same as their parents. Afraid of having the same destiny, they went into hiding. They discovered more about the supernatural and wrote down what they learned. Around the beginning of the 1900's the book got in hands of hunters." Reading this, I close the book and lay it down. The memories of my family flash before my eyes as tears form.
