Summer Haiku VI

Summer Haiku VI

A Poem by Rainbowco
"

Morning, Mid-day and night of summer

"

early morning sounds
six o’clock alarm of chirps…
cat at the back door
**********
mid-day in summer
heat wraps round the iced tea glass
ring on the table
*********
fireflies light
crickets serenade…
summer night
**********
lighting flashes west
showers of wet fantasy
travel the east winds

Enjoyed reading this very much. I especially liked your imagery so like my memories of summer nights growing up in the South.

Lovely, Lovely!
I love the third one:

"fireflies light
crickets serenade
summer night"

of all the images that came to mind out of these haikus, this was my favourite.
Very enjoyable read!
