Storm Risin'

Storm Risin'

A Poem by Rainbowco
"

Anti-War

"

Got my eye

On the horizon

A storm risin’

Extermination

Of this nation

Final suppression

Lie by omission

And then confession

To God, To Allah

A celebration

In Bush’s prediction

Of action

But he can’t get no satisfaction

Got my eye

On the horizon

A storm risin’

Oil’s addiction

Set in motion

A revolution

So convoluted

Full of deception

To God, to Allah

War’s abomination

Just the question

Whose decision

Was it- to get some satisfaction

Got my eye

On the horizon

A storm risin’

On television

Much discussion

Evil’s repression

A justification

Not religion

To God, To Allah

Coffins in decoration

Reflections

Of conditions

In a world of too much satisfaction

Well, I agree (I guess you have seen by some of my poems how I feel) mightily with your sentiments. I thought this very well-written and thoughtful.

I think this is very well written and thought out, not anything to even provoke any words, very well written. That day was so very sad for many.
