A Rondeau

 

Come walk with me in the twilight.

Sea breezes brushing ever light

Across the vastness of the sea.

Reflected in eyes, hazel green

Such love as to make stars finite.

 

Your hair gathering the moonlight

Calls up emotions held so tight.

Would you, unlikely as it seems,

Come walk with me?

 

The moon a miraculous sight

Pales against your beauty tonight.

Let me sleep if these be but dreams,

Never to wake that I may keep

Hoping forever that you might

Come walk with me.

As you know I'm Not a Poet, my opinion is everyone has there own stile.
I myself just write what comes to mind at the time, { good or bad }
I like to rhyme personally I like them in a poem

As far as I can tell this seems to be spot on in syllable count per line
with your half line refrains in place~ you have penned a lovely
Rondeau,I think one of the most beautiful forms of poetry~and
