My alarm is set for 4:45 am, bird's chirping wakes me at 4:06 am.

 

four-o-six am

single bird chirps, chirps, chirps, chirps

wish I had a cat

so enjoyable, this one! I chuckled and smiled, then went back to read again. Particularly effective is the "chirp" repetition, so like an alarm. And the aside; yes, this is a poem that catches the moment and gives the extra at the end. Loved it.
