Objective: Establish Beachhead on Commune planet of Adarae.

Report:

0500: Battlegroup drops from alcubierre bubble. Scouting reports confirmed. Commune forces total 1 Virtuous Class Carrier, 3 Valiant Class Battlecruiser, and 5 Chivalrous Class Destroyers. Herons immediately deploy all Parrots, while Hawks orders to form defensive screen, while Falcons and Ravens ordered to attack.

0516: Parrots succeed in disabling 2 Valiants, and 4 Chivalrous, while Ravens disabled 1 Valiant and 1 Chivalrous. Virtuous turns to flee, Hawks fire upon her, disabling her engines and preventing her from fleeing, 1 Raven ordered to destroy her. Loses: 123 Parrots, 1 Raven suffered minor damage

0520: Ground Assault commences. Assault Herons move into position above drop point and deploy Pelicans and Ravens. Herons deploy Sparrows and remaining Parrots to provide air support. Commune anti air emplacements provide an unanticipated amount of resistance. 2 Ravens ordered to provide support and eliminate anti air emplacements. Loses: 63 Pelicans, 42 Crows, 155 Sparrows, 40 Parrots, 46620 infantry, 21 Bears, 21 Tigers, 20 Ferrets.

0530: Touchdown. remaining dropships land on Adarae’s surface with minimal casualties. Sparrows provide CAS while parrots return to carriers for restock. Loses: 20 Sparrows, 2 Bears, 5 Ferrets, 200 Infantry.

0600: Beachhead established. Remaining infantry succeed in establishing beachhead. Bears positioned inside the beachhead provide artillery fire against any attack. Beachhead secure.

Outcome and commander notes: Objective achieved. Moderate casualties. Reinforcements to further man and secure beachhead requested. Commune has not yet been able to construct many capital ships.
