Chapter Five-A Bloody Fate

I looked out across the plains at the town so far out in the distance.  The wind tugged at my clothes and hair and made the wheat fields sway like ocean waves.  How I longed to reach the town in the distance.  How I wished to hold her close and not have to tell her a thing.  But not longer was that an option.  I knew that when I had brought her here that I would take the path fate had laid out.  Even though I could’ve changed it…  

I couldn’t keep avoiding her fate.  No… not any more.  I had strategically laid out her times of death and where they would take place like only I could, but in doing so that forced me to eventually lead her to a place where she would find out the truth.  She was my angel… but with wings made of blood.  

Oh, if I had known what a wish like that meant so many years ago…  The omen it held.

Chaos is an angel who fell in love with a demon.  Both Life and Death knew it would be best if that Chaos was eliminated.  But that required such a high toll…  When the time came, I could not simply just let her die, I had to destroy her soul completely.  So that it no longer touched this earth.  Not even in death.
