It started with a kiss

We were so in love

We spent every hour together

We loved like no others

 

It started with a fight

I said I didn't need him

He grabed me and threw me down

He said I was nothing without him

 

It ended with a nail

He hit me more than enough

I'd taken that for a year

As I said...

It ended with a bloody nail.

Great poem! Betrayel on both ends, so it seems...he betrayed her by making her feel worthless and she betrayed herself by believing him and thinking that what they had was real...sad but Great nonetheless!
