Tiny Glass Hearts...

I wrote this For my past love

 

Tiny and frail so small and so sweet
Tiny glass hearts fall at your feet
Left shatered and broken all upon the floor
Only to be swept up and placed together once more

So here Jeff have mine
This tiny glass heart
See if you can fix it
Put together what had fallen apart

Tiny and frail my heart in your hands
Please don't break it my only command
My tiny glass heart so easily defeat
My tiny glass heart that lands at you feet

Not to be shatered once more
My tiny glass heart laying on the floor
Slowly it changes and I almost feel again like crying in defeat
Then slowly and softly I hear my tiny little hearts very first beat...
