Τοξότης (Dhanus)

Τοξότης (Dhanus)

A Poem by RainbowFlames
"

Asttology, Mythology, whichever one you choose to look at, it all says the same thing.

"
Blessed with a curse
Cursed with a blessing
The “blessed” ability to unconditionally love;
No matter what.
The curse to love what isn’t emotionally right
To love where it hurts
Like an ice ridden heart
Pumped with warm blood,
Coated with a thin ice
Squeezed so gently that it shatters
The fragments puncturing skin like daggers
Then melting away the evidence
Now afraid to touch another heart again
So selfless to those who are so selfish
The cruelness of love
The throbbing ache of love…
To love what isn’t pure
To love what isn’t safe
To love what doesn’t return
To love…
